This morning I had to help my step-mom set up for a party we were hosting. It was an anniversary party for my parents. Just about everyone in my family was coming and bring some delicious dish. So to help out in setting up I put up some rope-light. Classy I know. That's how we roll in the south-side.hahah So that took me about 30 minutes and presto! My good deed for the day was done.

After hanging of the luminous rope I went over to my 32 years old pregnant niece's house. I know it sounds weird but go with me. I am the youngest of 17 siblings. We picked today to hang out. She is one of my favorite people to veg out with. She is also so close to popping it isn't funny. We went and had an appetizer at Baby Acapulco's and talked. We sat out on the patio since it was such a beautiful day. We talked about life and the anticipated arrival of her soon to be princess. We filled each other in on family gossip. I got to hear some pretty juicy stuff.lol After Baby A's we went to Marshall's to pick up some stuff for her house. We were pretty much spent after that so we went pack to her house to watch a movie. She is a pretty big John Cusak fan so we watched one of his earlier movies. It was called "One Crazy Summer". I liked it. It was an odd movie but made me laugh. The movie has that chuckle factor that I enjoy. There was a giant dolphin with rabies that kept coming up in the movie. You'll have to see it to fully understand and appreciate it.

The movie ended and I had to go home to get ready for the fiesta. I was in charge of queso and was running late. Good thing cheese melts pretty fast or else I would have been screwed. It was good to see most of my family in one spot. When we get together laughter and loudness ensue. Of course I over indulged myself in food and family. I laughed and ate till my stomach hurt.
