Class of 2008

Awe the start of a new week with nothing to do. I tried to sign up for a sub job today but they were all taken. Oh well I guess that's just God's way of telling me I deserve a day off. At least that's what I like to tell myself to justify my laziness.

My step-mom was babysiting baby montsro(thats what I like to call her). So I decided to get up and play with her. She was very affectionate today. She kept giving me hugs and kisses. My dad had to run an errand so we all went, one big happy family. He had to get another birth certificate for my sister who is joining the military. Sh we headed to the office of vital statistics. Baby monstro was being a little fussy so I drew her some people to play with. She ended up tearing their heads off and eating them!!! I know! I think there is something seriously wrong with this little girl.

After that we went and had lunch at Schlotzsky's. I had a delicious panini and everyone else had a personal pizza, including baby monstro who managed to destroy every single piece of pizza before devouring them. I use the word devouring because that is exactly what she did. For a 2 year old she is quite the savage.

3 screaming fits, 23 napkins, 5 spankings, and 1 nerve left we arrived back at home. It was time for baby monstro's nap. Thank goodness for nap times. I was feeling a little tired as well so I decided to take a nap as well.

After nap/coma time I got a call from my sister. She needed some help at church so I went with her. She failed to let me know that we would be interviewing graduating seniors for scholarships through the church. I just recently joined the education council at my church so I had no idea that this was one of our duties. I was hoping to watch a few of the other member interview first to get some tips. I was sadly mistaken. The first candidate walked in and they gave him to me. Luckily I had gone on plenty of interviews for scholarships when I was getting ready for college so I had plenty of good questions to ask. I got to know the candidates really well and they told me of their hopes and dreams as well as why they deserved a scholarship. They were great kids and most of them were the first people in their family to go to college. That didn't surprise me since I go to a Catholic Church in South Austin. It felt good having the power to give hundreds of dollars away, it reminded me of the times I go to the outlet malls in San Marcos.lol
