This blog is for Tuesday:
Talk about being a bum. I did not officially leave my house today until 11:30p. I was up late last nite catching up on some old shows. I am now caught up on October Road and Eli Stone. Thank goodness for networks putting their episodes online. So I did that until wee hours in the morning which means I didn't wake up until 1-ish. I know! Lazy.
Feeling a bit sloth-like I decided to go for a walk around the neighborhood. I made myself go for 30 minutes straight. It was rather refreshing. Gave me time to clear my mind and get a marvelous dose of fresh air. I passed a few individual walkers as well and they greeted me with a big smile each time. It is true that healthy people are happy people. I guess Elle Woods was right about the endorphines. If you have no clue what that reference was to, then rent Legally Blonde and educate yourself.
After my outstanding little walk I continued to veg out in front of the tube occasionally surfing the web from time to time. Then I got a text from my friend Dylan letting me know of a get together in honor of a mutual friend's birthday. That was the reason for me leaving the house at 11:30p.
So I arrive there and Matthew(birthday boy) shows me his brand spanking new tattoo. It was inspired by a children's book called Ish by Peter Reynolds. I had never read the book so Matthew proceeded to read it to me. I think that it is officially my new favorite book. If you know me and then read it, you'll know why. After Ish we drank, chatted, and listened to some tunes. It was a pretty stellar night. Then we made a run for root beer floats. Odd I know but Dylan was craving one.
