Oh what a day. I am feeling a little tired and it's only 10pm. I haven't been going to bed lately until 2 or 3a. You know just farting around and looking at job prospects.
I woke up at 11a today since I had the intention of having lunch with my friend Clinton. We went to Chuy's and it was muy delicioso! He had the Chicka Chicka Boom Boom enchiladas and I had flautas. We talked about the randomness that is our existence and the questionable choices we have made along the way. It was rather amusing conversation. I am sure the eaves-droppers around us were getting to know us on a more intiment level. During lunch I garnered a call from my father. I had to take him to run some errand so that cut my afternoon with Clinton short. I thought we were going to get the chance to recommence our tennis game from the prior day. Looks like Wimbledon will have to wait.
Taking my dad on errands really took it out of me. I got home and watched some of the tube with the parents and fell asleep. After a short siesta I had a fiesta! Joking, I decided to go on a 30 minute walk to count as my 30 minutes of continuous activity that I am striving for daily.
I took my iPod for tunage and set off on my endeavor. Half way through my walk the Spice Girls songs 2 Become 1 came on. I am not going to lie, I really like that song. I took a peak around me to see if anyone was in earshot. There was a sad little forest to my right, the hustle and bustle of traffic to my left, and blue skies before me so I decided to belt out the chorus. Just as the first words was leaving my mouth I tripped on a rock and literally ate dirt. My skinned knee started throbbing but all I could do was lay on the ground laughing. A nice biker came to help me up and started laughing. He apologized and said that my laugh was contagious. After some muffled giggling I thanked him and wished him well off on his way. I continued back on my walk. I am still smiling over how funny it must have been for someone to see me eat it.
The rest of my day was all bumsville from there on. I called my good friend Chris and played catch up. I watched some T.V. shows online that I missed this week. One of them being Eli Stone. I freaking love that show. If you haven't seen it go to ABC.Com and get caught up. You will be glad you did.
