Friday-TGIF!

It is Friday and I could not have been more excited. The week seemed to have gone on too long and I can't wait for the weekend. I am subbing today in a 2nd grade class at my favorite school. It was a pretty good day. The kids listened and we accomplished all the goals the teacher had left. I even had time to make her a bulletin board. I hope the picture I post does it justice. Today I found my groove in teaching and my classroom management was incredible. I even impressed myself today. I can really see my self growing as an educator.

After school today I went to have dinner with my cooperating teacher from when I did my student teaching. She is an amazing teacher and I am lucky to have had her. We chatted about our lives up to where we are today, our families, and careers. It was a great time and I really enjoyed myself.

Also today I got to talk to 2 different friends who were offered teaching jobs. Congratulations to Kathryn Martin for getting a kinder job in Richardson and congratulations to Wendy Lee for getting offered a 2nd grade job in Round Rock. I am happy for them and hope that I will be able to be added to their celebrations.
