Can you believe that I did a 5k on Sunday? Well I did. It was rather enjoyable. The route took us through downtown Austin and around the Capitol. It wasn't that hard but some of those hills made me pant like a dog. It was really nice to get out and get some exercise on a pleasant Sunday morning. I was not alone though. Besides the thousands of beautifully fit people I was accompanied by my good friend Katie. We met our goal of finishing under an hour and got our coveted shirts.
The rest of the day was dedicated to the comings and goings of family. They would stop by and chat for a bit and then carry on with there Sunday plans. Our house just being a mere pit stop on their journey of life. I found out that my older sister did a 5k as well in San Antonio this morning. She won 1st for her age group. Congrats Sis!
My allergies were acting up so I took a couple of naps through out the day. Nothing too extravagant.

- As of June 3rd 2009 I am a teacher with 1 year of experience under my belt. Going from a substitute to a legit teacher was a shock at first, but my studies and professors at UT well prepared me. I like to think I am a great teacher, but that's just what 22 third graders, 44 parents, and several coworkers told me. I am sure the jury is still out on me though...
