The Beekeeper

I started my new job today. I was originally hired to be a camp counselor for school aged kids during the summer. That however changed. The director called me and said that there weren't enough kids enrolled for the summer camp so she would not be needing me there. Instead I could take over for a 3 year olds teacher while she took summer off to spend time with her family. I agreed to it without even thinking. All I knew was that I needed a summer job, so I took whatever bone was thrown at me.

As I walked in today I was a little nervous. I had no idea what to expect from the class. Would they like me? Better yet would they even listen to me? Lucky the teacher I will be replacing will be there until the end of May to train me and get me used to the routine. Let's just say that the kids were definitely a lively bunch. There are more than 2x as more boys than girls. We all know how little boys can be. They like dirt, to wrestle, and of course making a mess. These boys were no different. I seriously have my work cut out for me. The name of my class is the "Honeybees". I can't wait to see what adventures are in store for me as I become a "Beekeeper".
